49 Taylors Road is set to become a benchmark for sustainable, community-focused development in South East Queensland.

Nature and open space are central to the vision for 49 Taylors Road

Central to this development is a strong focus on environmental stewardship and sustainable outcomes. Over 48 hectares—an impressive 40% of the total site—will be preserved as open space. This includes two neighbourhood parks,
a central green corridor, and linear parklands designed to enhance the site’s natural beauty and support its ecological integrity. The project will protect significant waterways, endangered vegetation, and koala habitats, creating a harmonious blend of modern living and natural surroundings.

Benchmark’s proven track record in managing complex projects shines through at 49 Taylors Road.

The development overcomes significant challenges, including the construction of 1.5 kilometres of sewer infrastructure and flood mitigation measures to safeguard residents. Upgraded local water mains, roads, and intersections will ensure infrastructure keeps pace with community needs. Additionally, Benchmark has been working with the Department of Education to deliver public and special school sites, further enhancing the project’s community value.

Currently in the development approval phase, the project is expected to receive final council approvals by early 2025. Benchmark’s commitment to high-quality, sustainable development ensures that 49 Taylors Road will stand as a model of thoughtful urban design and community-building.
